Mr. Duck for a newborn

Hooray! Several weeks ago, I became aunt again! I crocheted this lovely little stuffed toy mr. Duck specially for him.
Many people already made this duck, it's a real famous pattern in crochet world, but here a link to the pattern again!

Duck Innocent drinks pattern

 (English below!)

Drie redenen waarom ik de goedgemutste breicampagne van Innocent steun. 1. Ik houd ernorm van haken en het verzinnen van nieuwe dingen, 2. ik vind het ontzettend leuk om mensen blij te maken met mij creaties, en 3. Ik vind het een goed doel en dat wil ik graag steunen!
Om dit goede doel nog een handje te helpen heb ik zes nieuwe haak patronen geschreven om je te inspireren voor de goedgemutste breicampagne en hier aan mee te doen! Deze patronen zullen in de komende week één voor één gepost worden, dus houdt mijn blog goed in de gaten!
Het een na laatste patroon is een EEND!!

EendHaaknaald: 3mm (met naald 3,5mm tot 24 steken rond gaan en dan tot 13 toeren)

R1: 6 vasten in een magic circle (tutorial magic circle)

R2: 2 v. in elk van de 6 v.(12 steken)

R3: * 1 v., haak 2 v. in de volgende v.* herh. 6 keer (18 steken)

R4: * 2 v., haak 2 v. in de volgende v.* herh. 6 keer (24 steken)

R5: * 3 v., haak 2 v. in de volgende v.* herh. 6 keer (30 steken)

R6-13: 1 v. helemaal rond (30 steken)

R14: 30 stk

Snavel

R1: Haak 4 lossen en keer

Duck

Crochet needle: 3mm (if you use a 3,5mm needle 24sts are enough from then go round untill round 12 or 13 rounds)

R1: chain 6 in a magic circle (tutorial magic circle)

R2: 2sc in every sts around (12sts)

R3: * 1sc, 2sc into the next sts* rep. 6 times (18sts)

R4: * 2sc, 2sc into the next sts* rep. 6 times (24sts)

R5: * 3sc, 2sc into the next sts* rep. 6 times (30sts)

R6-13: 1sc in every sts around (30sts)

R14: 30dc in each sc around

Beak

R1: chain 4 and turn

R2: 2sc, crochet 3 sc. in the next stitches. move on to the backside of the chain and crochet 2 sc.

Fasten off an sew on the duck.

Happy spring!

It's spring! My favourite season of the year. It's time for lambs in the meadow, flowers in the most beautiful colours, little chicks and ducks hatch. I love it. The sun is shining... so time for a small crochet project in the sun. On a sunny day I love to sit in the backyard and crochet. I've found such a cute pattern of a little duck, which I think is a perfect little project for a lovely sunny afternoon. Isn't it cute?
You can find the pattern from Woolytoons here. Unfortunately, the pattern is only in Dutch, but with a translation guide it will be ok, I guess.

Het is lente! Mijn favoriete seizoen van het jaar. Het is tijd voor lammetjes in de wei, bloemen in de mooiste kleuren, kleine kuikens en eendjes die uit het ei komen. Geweldig. De zon schijnt al weer volop, dus tijd voor een haakwerkje in het zonnetje. Ik vind het namelijk heerlijk om in de achtertuin in het zonnetje te zitten met een haakwerkje. Ik vond zo'n schattig patroon van een eendje, wat ik een perfect projectje vind voor op een heerlijk zonnige middag. Is het niet schattig?
