Telefoonhoesje / Phone cover - Tutorial

Ooit had ben ik in een patroon de tunische haaksteek tegen gekomen. Ik vond het destijds zo leuk om eens een andere haak steek te doen, dat ik pas dacht "hé de tunische haaksteek, laat ik dat weer eens doen". Zo doende begon ik aan m'n nieuwe telefoonhoesje met drie kleuren. Juist het wisselen van de drie kleuren geeft het telefoonhoesje zo'n leuk effect!

Once I had a pattern with the tunisian crochet stitch. It´s so fun to do, because it is a totaly different stitch than you used to do. So I decided to make something with the tunisian crochet stitch again. I made this lovely phone cover in three colours. Especially the three colours give the phone cover such a nice effect.

 

Ook zo'n leuk hoesje maken?
1. Meet de breedte van je telefoon op. Is je telefoon 5cm breed, dan zet je een x aantal lossen op tot dat je 5 cm hebt. Het tunische haakwerk rekt namelijk niet echt mee.
2. Meet nu de lengte van je telefoon op. Is je telefoon 10cm lang, dan maak je een lap van 20cm bij 5 cm. Deze vouw je dubbel en werk haak je aan elkaar met vasten.
3. Hoe krijg je nou dat effect met die drie kleuren? Start met wit, zet lossen op en haal de lussen erdoor. Nu ga je over op oranje, met deze kleur haal je er door de witten lussen heen en zet je nieuwe lussen op. Nu ga je weer over op wit, haal de witte draad door de oranje lussen heen en zet daarna nieuwe lussen op. Nu is roze aan de beurt, haal deze kleur door de witte lussen heen en zet vervolgens roze lussen op. Vervolgens is wit weer aan de beurt etc. Je gaat dus continu met één kleur heen en weer (twee rijen). 

Nog niet bekend met het tunisch of tunesisch haken, bekijk dan dit filmpje!

Want to make such a nice phone cover as well?  I explain
1. Measure the width of your phone. If your phone is 5cm width, you'll make a chain of 5cm. 
2. Measure the length of you phone. If the length of your phone is 10cm, you'll make a piece of 5cm x 20cm. If it's finished you'll fold it and finish the edges with a single crochet.
3. How do you get the effect of the three colours? Well, you'll start with white and when you made the loops, you'll pull another colour (orange) through the loops and make new loops with orange. Now you pull the white yarn through the loops and make new white loops. Now you pull the pink yarn through the white loops and make new loops with pink. Now you'll use the white yarn again. Thus, you go back and forward with one colour and than start with the new one (two rows every colour).

In mijn vorige blogpost heb ik al het basispatroon gepost voor een mutsje en zoals beloofd zou ik nog wat variaties daarop posten. Hierbij mijn creaties inclusief patroon! Succes.

In my last blogpost I already posted the basic pattern. I promised to post more creative variations on this basic pattern, here they are inclusive the pattern! Have fun.

Afkortingen:

herh. = herhaal
os. = overslaan
v. = vaste

Abbreviation:

sc = single crochet
rep = repeat
sts = stitches

Red hat

Basispatroon met randje 1 voeg in dezelfde kleur als de pompom stipjes toe.

Basic pattern with brim 1 and add a pompom in the same colour. Finish off with lovely dots in the same colour as the pompom.

Watermelon

Basispatroon: R1-10 in roze; R11-12 wit; R13 groen. Randje 2 in groen.
Witte pompom en met een zwarte draad maak je de zaadjes van de watermeloen in het roze gedeelte.

Basic pattern: R1-10 in pink; R11-12 in white; R13 in green and brim 2 in green.
Add a white pompom and finish off with black yarn to create the seeds in the pink area of the watermelon.

Minion(based on the movie Despicable me)
Basispatroon: R9 zwart de rest geel.

Oog:
R1 met zwart: 5 v. in magic circle
R2 met wit: 2 v. in elk van de 5 v. (10 steken)
R3 met grijs: *1 v., 2 v. in de volgende steek (15 steken)
Werk af en naai het oogje er aan vast. Voeg haar (zwarte draad) toe om het af te maken.

Basic pattern: R9 black the other rows yellow. Eye:
R1 with black: 5 sc. into a magic circle (5sts)
R2 with white: 2sc in every sts around (10sts)
R3 with grey: * 1sc, 2sc into the next sts* rep. 5 times (15sts)
Finish off and sew on the hat.  Add some hair (black yarn) at the top of the hat.


Ice hat

Basispatroon: R1-8 met kleur a. R9-13 + rand 2 in kleur b. Pompom in kleur b.

R9: * 1 v., 1 v. in rij 7, 1 v. in rij 6, 1 v. in rij 5, 1 v. in rij 6, 1 v. in rij 7* herh. 5 keer.

Basic pattern: R1-8 with colour a. R9-13 + brim 2 in colour b. The pompom in colour b.
R9: * 1 sc., 1 sc. in row 7, 1 sc. in row 6, 1 sc. in row 5, 1 sc. in row 6, 1 sc. in row 7 * rep. 5 times.

At the Innocent website you can find all kind of knit patterns, however I rather crochet. Thus I made especially for the big knit a pattern. This is the most basic pattern, in the coming weeks I try to post more creative versions. Good luck with the pattern!

Haaknaald: 3mm (met naald 3,5mm tot 24 steken rond gaan en dan tot 13 toeren)
R1: 6 vasten in een magic circle (tutorial magic circle)
R2: 2 v. in elk van de 6 v.(12 steken)
R3: * 1 v., haak 2 v. in de volgende v.* herh. 6 keer (18 steken)
R4: * 2 v., haak 2 v. in de volgende v.* herh. 6 keer (24 steken)
R5: * 3 v., haak 2 v. in de volgende v.* herh. 6 keer (30 steken)
R6-13: 1 v. helemaal rond (30 steken)
Nu heb je het basis patroon voltooid en moet er ongeveer zo uit zien als op de foto hieronder:

Basic pattern hat:
Crochet needle: 3mm (if you use a 3,5mm needle 24sts are enough from then go round untill round 12 or 13 rounds)
R1: chain 6 in a magic circle (tutorial magic circle)
R2: 2sc in every sts around (12sts)
R3: * 1sc, 2sc into the next sts* rep. 6 times (18sts)
R4: * 2sc, 2sc into the next sts* rep. 6 times (24sts)
R5: * 3sc, 2sc into the next sts* rep. 6 times (30sts)
R6-13: 1sc in every sts around (30sts)
Now you finished you basic pattern like on this picture:

Nu kan je verschillende randen toevoegen:
Now you're able to add a nice brim:

Randje 1:
R14-15: 1 v. helemaal rond (30 steken)
R16: * 5 v. in de volgende v., 1 v. os. * herh. 15 keer
Werk af.

Brim 1:
R14-15: 1sc in every sts around (30sts)
R16: * 5sc into the next sts, skip one sc* rep. 15 times
Finish off

Randje 2:
R14: 30 stk
Werk af en je kan eventueel het randje omvouwen.

Brim 2:
R14: 30dc in each sc around
Finish off, you are able fold this edge.



Voeg boven op een leuke pompom toe om het helemaal af te maken (hier zie je hoe je gemakkelijk een pompom maakt). De richtlijn voor de afmetingen van het mutsje is ongeveer 5cm breed en 5cm hoog. Onthoudt, dit is een richtlijn dus als het een beetje groter is, is dat natuurlijk geen probleem.

Add a nice pompom to finish the hat (tutorial pompom). The directive for the hat is about 5cm wide and 5cm high. But it's a directive, thus if it's a bit bigger, it's not a problem at all.

Sieraden/ Jewelries

Deze week leuke nieuwe dingen uit geprobeerd zo heb ik me aan de gehaakte sieraden gewaagd. Deze ringen zijn gemaakt van mooi katoen, naar eigen idee.

Mr. & Mrs. Hooks

Weken geleden kwam ik een leuk patroon van een snor tegen... ik weet niet waarom, maar ik besloot hem te gaan haken. Wat ik er mee moest? Geen idee... Zo slingerde hij enkele weken rond in mn huis zonder een echte bestemming te hebben. "Wat zal ik met die snor doen?" vroeg ik me af. "Een sleutelhanger? Nee, daar is-tie te groot voor. Een ketting? Nee, daar ga ik toch niet mee lopen." Toen kwam ik vanmorgen weer die snor tegen en kreeg ik opeens een ingeving "dat ding moet ik gewoon ergens op plakken... op dit vaasje? Ja, dat staat eigenlijk wel grappig." Zo doende heb ik het een dag laten zitten en kregen die vaasjes een heel eigen 'karakter'. Twee leuke bamboo haak naalden in de ander en daar zijn Mr. and Mrs. Hooks.

 

Week ago I found a nice pattern of a mustache on the internet... I don't know why, but I decided to make it. I had no idea what to do with a crochet mustache. He lay down for a few weeks in my house, without any real purpose. I wondered "What shall I do with this mustache? Shall I make a neckless of it? No, I won't wear it. A keychain maybe? No, to big." And suddenly this morning I had a great idea "I will stick it anywhere... on this vase? Yes quite funny actually." Thus, I leave the mustache on the vase for a day... than I inserted some bamboo needles into the other vase and Mr. and Mrs. Hooks were there.

Fleurig boeketje

Vrouwen bloot, handel dood... zeggen ze op de bloemenveiling, maar niet met deze tulpen. Een tijdje gelden heb ik ze al eens op m'n blog geplaatst, maar deze verdienen het om nogmaals in de schijnwerpers te staan. Dit keer heb ik een fleurig boeketje van acht tulpen gehaakt.

Puck

Hallo allemaal, laat me jullie aan iemand voorstellen... dit is Puck de mopshond. Puck is een heel makkelijk hondje, ze wil niet uitgelaten worden (al helemaal niet als het regent), ze heeft geen eten nodig dus laat die dure brokjes maar in het schap staan. Daarnaast is ze, zoals je kan zien op de foto kan zien, een pittige tante die denk dat ze met haar 15cm wel de deur kan bewaken...

Hello everybody, let me introduce you to Puck the pug. Puck is such an easy little dog, she don't want to go out for a walk (definitely not if it rains), she don't need any food. As you can see on the picture, she is a tough girl who thinks that she can guard the door with her 15cm...

Boekenlegger/ Bookmark + Pattern

Afgelopen week was het natuurlijk perfect weer om een boek te lezen op het strand. Daarom maakte ik deze vrolijke bloemen boekenlegger voor mijn moeder, want ze leest graag.

Ik maakte het bloemetje door zes vasten in een magic ring te maken, vervolgens deed ik in elke vaste *een halve vaste, 2 losse, 3 stokjes, 2 losse en een halve vaste* dit herhaalde ik totdat ik 5 bloemblaadjes had en in de laatste vaste deed ik een halve vaste en zo'n 30 tot 40 losse. Onderaan heb ik een paar kraaltjes toegevoegd, je kan natuurlijk ook eindigen met 4 stokjes in de tweena laatste van de ketting losse en dan afhechten.

Last week it was a lovely weather to read books at the beach. That why I made this flower bookmark for my mum, because she loves to read.

I made the flower as follows:
R1: 6 sc into a magic ring.
R2: Into the first st add *ss, chain 2, 3dc, chain 2, ss* repeat untill you have five petals. In the last st add a *ss, chain 30 (or 40)*
At the end of chain 30 you can add some beads like I did, but you can also add 4dc into the 28th st of the chain.
Finishing off.

Krukje/ Stool

Gistermiddag kocht dit schattige krukje :). Ik ben er zo blij mee, ik kan dan ook niet wachten om vanmiddag te beginnen met haken. Voor de zitting ga ik vrolijke kleuren katoen gebruiken die ik in een granny stitch ga haken. Ook zo benieuwd naar het eind resultaat? Houd mijn blog dan de komende tijd goed in de gaten!

Yesterday afternoon I bought this lovely stool. I'm so happy with it, can't wait to start crocheting... so you know what I'm going to do this afternoon. For the seat I'll use lovely colourful cottan and I'll crochet it in a granny stitch. Are you curious to the end result? Keep following my blog closely the coming days!

Tutorial:

Wil je ook zo'n schattig krukje maken? Volg dan het volgende patroon van Raymond tot de cirkel de zitting van het krukje bekleed. Haak dan in elke steek een vaste om de rand te creëren. Tot slot haal je een een draad door de laatste toer heen om de hoes een beetje aan te trekken zodat hij goed om de zitting blijft zitten. Veel plezier!

Do you want to make such a lovely stool? Than follow this pattern of Raymond untill it fits your seat and than crochet the edges with sc into each st! Finally, put your yarn through the last row to tighten  your cover over the seat of the stool.  Good luck!

Crochet slippers

Ik kocht wat nieuwe bolletjes wol en die moesten natuurlijk gelijk gebruikt worden, zodoende deze schattige 'crochet slippers' die al een tijdje om mijn to-do-lijstje stonden. Het was erg leuk om dit te maken, eigenlijk was het zo af.

I bought some new yarn and of course I directly wanted to use them. So I made these lovely crochet slippers, which were on my to-do-list for a while. These slippers are so easy to make, I really enjoyed making them.

Retro Bag

Tussen de afstudeer gekte door heb ik deze tas nog 'even' gemaakt! Ondertussen ben ik dus ook druk aan het afstuderen. Ik ben nu op het punt aan beland dat mn enquête online staat en daarvoor zoek ik zo'n 300 mensen die hem willen invullen. Als je dat nog niet gedaan hebt, klik dan hier om naar het onderzoek te gaan. Je zou me echt enorm helpen als je hem even invult en hoe sneller ik afstudeer, hoe sneller ik meer leuke haak creaties met wellicht patronen online kan plaatsen!! Sleutelhanger/ Key ring

Al een tijdje zit ik zonder sleutelhanger en dat vind ik nogal een kale bedoeling... Dus toen ik vandaag héél graag iets wilde maken, bedacht ik me opeens dat ik ooit wat aantekingen had gemaakt voor een sleutelhanger. Dit wolkje is het geworden... niet zelf verzonnen overigens, ik heb het ooit eens ergens op internet gezien (hier) en er een aanteking van gemaakt om te onthouden en dit is het resultaat...

It has been a while that I lost my key ring... but today I made a new one :). I really wanted to make something. So I looked into my note and found this lovely cloud. This is not originally my idea, I once found it on the internet (here) and draw it in my notes to remember, and this is the result...

... ik zou zeggen maak er ook één het is zo gedaan en een super leuk resultaat!

... I would say: do it yourself, it is so easy and the result is stunning.
