FIJNE FEESTDAGEN!

Iedereen alvast hele fijne feestdagen! Als je het eenmaal door hebt zijn deze mooie 'five pointed stars' (even googlen) super leuk om te maken :D! O ja, en wat kan je nog meer met je @tonyschocolonely_nl wikkels doen? Deze leuke sterren maken dus :D

DE 'I' IS VOOR...

I've got a new one. De I oogde eerst wat eenvoudig, maar door het toevoegen van het geometrisch-achtige randje is het helemaal in balans. Het randje was overigens het idee van mijn man! Echt goed verzonnen :) ⠀

DE 'N' IS VOOR...

 
Al een tijdje geleden maakte ik speciaal voor ons achternichtje deze hippe borduurring met de eerste letter van haar voornaam. Mooie letter de 'N'. Ik combineerde roze met groen, zo is het een heel tof en stoer en girly kraamcadeau geworden!

DE 'B' IS VOOR...

Boy, Beer, Boot en nog veel meer, het is maar net wat je zelf wilt. Na de eerste borduurring met letter, had ik meteen de smaak te pakken en maakt ik deze B. Ik ben helemaal weg van deze kleine borduurringen met bijvoorbeeld de eerste letter van de voornaam. Op naar de volgende! ⠀

LETTER PORTRET!

 Met zomerse kleurtjes maakte ik de letter N. Letter projecten zijn mijn favoriete tussendoor projecten waarin allerlei nieuwe steken kan uitproberen! Voor deze letter N probeerde ik de ‘ingrijpsteek’ of ‘statijnsteek’ zoals die genoemd wordt in mijn ‘Heerlijke Handwerken Borduren’ boek uit 1981 (!) die ik bij de tweedehandswinkel op de kop tikte!! Zo blij met dit boek! Kan niet wachten om weer een volgende steek uit te proberen 😄!⠀

WALVIS!

 Speciaal op verzoek maakt ik deze schattige walvis! Ik ben extra trots op dit werkje want ik heb hem niet alleen gemaakt, maar ook zelf ontworpen :D Zo cool als het dan zo goed lukt!! #Iloveit!

Met deze kleurrijke achterkant is hij officieel af :)

AAPJE!

 Op verzoek maakte ik dit schattige aapje, nagemaakt van het geboortekaartje! Zo leuk om te doen, en nog leuker als het resultaat zo goed uitpakt!!⠀

En het borduurwerkje is pas echt af als de achterkant erop zit. Hiervoor gebruikte ik een stukje vilt en zette die met een festonsteek vast. Dit maakt het helemaal af!

CADEAUTJE!

Altijd leuk om een handgemaakt cadeautje te geven! Het inpakken vind ik ook altijd al een feestje. Ik ben blij hoe deze combinatie zo feestelijk is uitgepakt. Vind jij het ook altijd leuk om je werkjes mooi in te pakken?

Seahorse Rattle

Who doesn't love a book about crochet? I have lot's of crochet books, and once in a while I can't resist a flick through some of them. I especially love to flick through them when I'm out of inspiration. Or if I know what kind of thing I want to make, but can't find a great free pattern on the internet. Also this time... For months it was on my whish list to make a seahorse, but couldn't find a great pattern (most of the time I'm too lazy to make one myself). By then it was one of those nights I flicked through some of my crochet books and found this lovely pattern! I decided to make this one for a little newborn girl. I think it turned out very cute, doesn't it?

Last week we went on maternity visit. We bought a very cute picture book from Dikkie Dik. And of course I crocheted also a cute present! I always like to match the crochet stuff, by the theme of the book. I found this lovely cat crochet pattern at Stip en Haak. I used Philar Coton yarn 3 in two colors, 70 Melon for the base and 77 Tournesol for the cheeks. this cuddly toy fits perfectly with the picture book!

Pink lion

I have a lot of crochet books. However, usually I use the internet for inspiration... but not for this time. Because I was looking for a lion pattern, and I wasn't satisfied with the patterns I found at the internet. So I grabbed my crochet books and started to look for a lovely lion... and than suddenly I found a great pattern in this book Amigurumi World - Seriously cute crochet. Yeah! For this lion I used some pink yarn from Phildar and a 2.5 mm hook. O and by the way, not only the lion pattern in this book is really cute, I can recommend also the other patterns in it!
